In the heart of the Garden Route, Amanzi island Lodge in Knysna is perfectly positioned for you to easily explore all the beauty and activities that the area has to offer.

Aside from the beautiful lagoon and exquisite scenery that you’ll take in around Knysna’s bustling town, there are numerous wonderful beach, forest and cliff top walks in the Garden Route. Knysna also offers a host of activities such as golfing, ocean safaris, sailing and sunset cruises.

The Garden Route is home to a number of bird and animal sanctuaries; Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Eagle Encounters, The Knysna Elephant Park and Tenikwa Wild Cat Education Centre are all just down the road.

The area is also home to three beautiful Nature Reserves.

Robberg is a thirty minute drive and Tsitsikamma, home to the world-famous Otter Trail, is a little further along.
